How do guest reviews work?

The guest review process can vary slightly depending on the platform being used. At AirKeeper, we have established a systematic approach to encourage guest reviews. After check-out, guests receive multiple prompts to leave a review, not only on the booking platform but also on Google. Additionally, AirKeeper initiates the review process by leaving a review for guests three days after their stay.

On most booking platforms, including Google, guests have the flexibility to leave a review at their convenience, even long after their stay has ended. However, Airbnb follows a different protocol. Airbnb allows guests and hosts to leave star ratings and written reviews for each other within 14 days after check-out. Neither guests nor hosts can see the other's review until both have been submitted or until the 14-day review period has ended. This is done to ensure that both parties can provide unbiased and impartial feedback.

Importantly, once a review is submitted, it cannot be altered on any platform.

AirKeeper answers all reviews with a personalised comment to stay interactive with Guests.
